YAY!!!!!! I'm so excited that Drew and Cheryl won!!! They TOTALLY deserve it! I know I only watched like 3 episodes, but their dances just kicked A$$!!!
Also, had a little 'Grey's Anatomy' watching party last night! I was watching DWTS and Grey's came on right after so I started watching it, then a few of our friends came over and one of them is a 'seasoned watcher', so he was pumped that I was watching it, then everyone else just joined in! I KNEW there was a reason I decided NOT to watch this show when it premiered...I knew I would get hooked! I CANNOT watch it anymore, I have too many shows already, but season 1 is already in my Blockbuster queue.
Now on to Riley...poor baby woke up crying at 3am last night, this is unusual and we couldn't figure out what was wrong. Finally we decided to bring him to bed with us because he just wasn't falling asleep. We need to change him into cooler pj's if he was going to be in bed with us so we had to turn on the light...and when we did Chris saw a puddle of vomit in his bed. WHAT?! So we cleaned him up, threw his sheet in the wash, checked his temperature (nothing), changed his clothes and brought him into bed with us. He laid there still, quiet, for about 5 minutes, then rolled over and threw up again. OH NO! We sat him up out of the 'mess' and he did it again. Poor baby! So we had to change our sheets, change his pj's again, tried to get him to drink some water (he wouldn't), then got back into bed (this time with a thick towel underneath Riley) and he fell asleep, with no more vomiting. But today he's got diarrhea. MAN! I guess I've been lucky enough to go through almost 1 whole year without having to experience this with my baby boy, but it's here now. It's so weird though, because he doesn't have a fever, he appears to feel fine, and we can't think of anything out of the ordinary he ate yesterday. It's a mystery. I just hope it's all better soon. Our son really doesn't get sick often, promise! He has had 2 upper respirator infections and now this, which I don't know what THIS is.
The joys of parenting, we're always experiencing new things.

Sorry to hear about Riley!! Hopefully it was just a 24 hour bug. Brooke had that once or twice and when I called the nurse line, they said there is really not much you can do but monitor it to make sure it doesn't get worse. It just needs to run its course. If he gets a high fever, isn't having enough wet diapers, or can't eat like normal by tonight I would call your your ped. You might want to see if your she recommends Pedialyte, etc. to make sure he doesn't get dehydrated. Keep me posted on how he is doing! Yes, Grey's is ADDICTING!!! Such a great show! And yes...I am just so happy that Drew won! Woo hoo little sexy man! ha ha ;-)
Drew seems to be the topic of converstion today on our blogs!!! Funny!! I'm sooo glad they won. They deserved it!!! I'm sorry to hear about Riley! I remember doing that with both mine! Vomit is awful and especially when it's from your little baby!!! Just keep him hydrated and hopefully it'll pass!!! Keep us posted!!!
I tell everyone to always have Pedialyte on hand. We learned the hard way with Mikayla. Hope he gets to feeling better. Its sounds like the worst of it is over. Just give him lots of hugs and cuddles.
