"Father"

I have been wanting to get another tattoo since I got my first one 11 years ago...and I FINALLY did it!!!

After Daddy died last year I knew my next tattoo would be a memorial to him, and I knew that I wanted it somewhere I could SEE it every day. The hardest part was deciding where to put it. Then my mom had been saying she wanted to get one, so we always said we'd do it for her birthday, all of us (me, Chris, mom, Danny, and Steph). Well, Chris isn't quite ready yet (will he ever be?!?), Danny couldn't because he wore a nicotine patch on his shoulder that he wants his next one on, so it was a GIRL thing Saturday night!

Mom went first, then me, then Stephanie...and unfortunately my camera battery died during Steph's, so the final picture of her's, and pictures of all three of our's are on her camera, so I'll have to upload those when I get them...but until then, here's mine and mom's!

Weight Loss Progress

Well, I was suggfested that I might like to share a couple more progress pics. After dressing up to go out when we went to Sea World the other weekend it appears the loss is really starting to show! Weight loss is about 35 lbs. between the 2 pictures. (officially on Weight Watchers I've lost 27 lbs. as of Monday weigh in, so first pic was taken a little before I started)

I have SO MUCH to blog about, I am hoping I'll have time to this weekend, and to catch up on everyone else's as well!

Home Improvement

Chris and I finally got around to finishing one project and starting another, so I thought I'd share.

Last year we built a small deck in our back yard (as big as we could afford) and we still need to add a shingled roof, but this summer we decided to extend the patio out on the other side. We LOVE it! It frees up so much space, and it got rid of an unfortunate mud pit that was over there as well.

We also started adding some tint to the front windows of our house, to keep Riley's room and his play room cooler. I was really surprised with how much difference they made, here are some pics to show you!
