Checking In

Well, I've been MIA for awhile, things have just been so busy, so I thought I would just post and say HI! I have spent all morning trying to catch up on everyone's blog, so I hope I hit them all! We were just busy getting ready to go out of town and float the river 2 weeks ago with C's friends in SA, and when we got back Riley was sick all last week. Not really 'sick', as he really had no symptoms, but apparently his body was working hard to fight off the infection so he had a high fever for a few days. We got through it though, and all is well.

So since he's been well we've been catching up on cleaning, etc. as well as giving him all that play time he missed out on last week!

We've got plans to go to our city 4th of July celebration tomorrow night, with live music (Josh Gracin), fly over, and fireworks. Saturday we'll be spending the first half of the day at the lake (YAY!!! It's been too long!) and the 2nd half at mom's house grillin' out and playing ROCK BAND and GH Aerosmith!!! Can't wait!

I think those are the main things that have been going on with us, nothing TOO exciting, but enough to keep us busy. We're just enjoying the summer as much as we can, like everyone else! It's really been so exciting this year, with Riley being older and able to really do and enjoy so much more than years past.

I'm now off to make a calendar with my son (he's been BEGGING for his own calendar for 2 days now, don't ask me why?!?!) and then clean house before we have some friends over tonight for pool & darts!
