Riley is movin' and groovin' on his self-feeding and developing some strong likes & dislikes.
Dislikes: right now, ravioli/pasta...not his favorite, but he'll get over it I'm sure!
Likes: Almost everything else, with strong preferences for bananas and cheese!
Here's how it goes during breakfast:
Put cheerioes on his tray, he eats them; put pancakes on his tray, he eats them, but not any more cheerios; put bananas on his tray, he eats them and completely ignores anything else on his tray. When he's out of bananas, he won't eat any pancakes or cheerios on his tray, he waits for more banana!!!
How does lunch go, you ask?
Put toast on his tray, he eats it; put turkey on his tray, he eats it, but not any more toast; put cheese (or macaroni & cheese) on his tray, he eats it and NOTHING ELSE! When he's out of cheese, he won't eat any toast or turkey left, he waits for more cheese!!!
So, what happens when you put cheese AND bananas on his tray? I don't know, haven't tried it yet! Maybe we'll try that experiment tomorrow at lunch!!!

Hi Heather! Been meaning to tell you how cute the pics are that you posted! He's getting so big so fast! :-) Also, it is so funny when they develop preferences for food- and, though they are little, they can have some STRONG opinions! :-) Well, take care and have a very Merry Christmas- enjoy your time off and have a great time w/Chris and Riley on his 1st Christmas! So special! :-)
