Ice Days

Gotta love 'em! (unless you have drive, I guess) But me...I get to stay home because my wonderful boss is my mother and cares more about the safety of her daughter and grandson than about having her assistant come to work. I'm very lucky to have such a caring mom, she's also a wonderful grandmother. I know she is missing Riley like crazy! I'm actually missing her myself, and I think Riley is too.
Anyways, to the point...I am getting so much done being home like this, with nothing else to do but clean and straighten! Got the kitchen all squared away and now I'm going to wrap some Christmas gifts, as I can't work on the dining room without another set of hands to help me carry and move things. Chris had to go into work today, poor bloak, but I can still do a lot without him. I've also enjoyed all the stress-free time I get to spend with Riley. Yes, I'm trying to get as much done in the house as possible, but I've still been able to stop and just play and be silly with him. It's great! I could TOTALLY do this on a daily basis.

Song in my head: "Frosty the Snowman" (Riley LOVES Christmas carols)
