Back in Texas

We had a BLAST visiting the D-Fam in OK! Which is funny, because we really didn't do much, just stayed in the house most of the visit, hanging out, enjoying each other and especially enjoying the kids! But oh how the time did fly! What did we do?
Friday night: Got to OK about 9pm, lucky for us the girls were up! Took some pictures, put the kiddies to bed, then we 'adults' hung out, talking, watching 'nothing' on tv until about 12am or 12:30am I think
Saturday: Woke up early (gotta love babies!), ate breakfast, fed the kiddies, got dressed, the girls opened their birthday gifts, watched the A&M game (as painful as it was at times), ate Buffalo Wild Wings (YUMMY!), kept watching the A&M game, ate Ted's (delicious Mexican food), played with the kids (the kids loved the girls' new Little People toys), put the kids to bed (we fed them a couple of more times too, before bed of course), had some Sangritas, played 'Fact or Crap' (fun game, but I SUCK at trivia), watched 'House of Wax' (not my favorite movie by any means), went to bed
Sunday: Woke up early again (those darn babies again!), got our grub on, grazing for several hours, talked about what we would do, grazed some more, talked about what we wanted to do, played with the kids, watched 'Oprah' (it was a good one, about weight loss), got ready, decided what we were going to do, went to the park with the kids (it was windy and chilly but we had SO MUCH FUN! It was Riley's first time at a park, and we took tons of pictures of him and Becca swinging together, and Brooke was having a ball on the 'big kids' playground), picked up some Rusty's Frozen Custard on the way home, and then got ready to go.
So see, nothing too exciting, but when you are doing it with family (and friends), it's the best time you can imagine having! I enjoyed every minute I spend with my sister-in-law, brother-in-law and my nieces, and I loved watching all three of the kids playing and interacting with each other. Brooke is such a wonderful 'older cousin', she is so sweet with Riley, giving him lots of hugs and playing with him so well! And Becca, what a firecracker! She is growing up so fast, walking, crawling on the furniture, talking (I LOVE the way she says 'mommy', and I SWEAR she said 'Heder' at the park!) and such a beautiful little girl! I miss them already!
I can't wait until Thanksgiving!!!

PS: Pictures to come soon.....
