Well, I don't know about all that, but I can say I've learned A LOT over the past 24 months and I'm pretty proud of some of the things I can do right now. Let me toot my own horn for a bit!
-Just today I told mommy "Got boogers Mommy", then I went and got my own tissue
-I can count to fifteen all the way (Mommy says she loves the way I say 'twelve' - she's silly!)
-I'm able to count to 'seis' in Spanish
-I'm getting really good at putting sentences together: "Daddy go work and get money"; "Mommy in kitchen cooking dinner"; "I wanna go Nana's house" and many more, but you get the idea
-Some of my favorite activities are running, bubbles, painting and bath time
-My favorite movies are 'Finding Nemo' and 'Cars'; My favorite cartoons are Calliou, Spongebob, Backyardigans and Diego
-I'm learning to help Mom and Dad clean - sweeping, putting away dishes and doing the laundry are so fun!
-I'm kind of a 'crazy' eater - I keep Mommy and Daddy on their toes - some days I'll eat 3 helpings of peas and the next day I won't touch them - they never know what to give me to eat - I'm not trying to be difficult, I think I'm just learning that I can make my own choices
-I'm learning how to catch a ball, I'm already pretty good at throwing and kicking
-Mommy's really started to work with me on my letters and colors recently, I'm sure I'll have them down in no time - right now we're focusing on GREEN and the Letter A
-Ask me what a triangle, square, circle, heart or star are and I'll impress you!
-Everyone giggles and laughs when I talk like a whale, or when I have them smell my feet (which makes me laugh too!)
-Potty Training! Boy is that fun! I like going to the 'big boy' potty and flushing - I even say 'bye bye' to my poo poo - then I get to wash my hands and earn a sticker; I've already got 3 rows filled in my book!
-I love brushing my teeth - Mommy or Daddy start it out, but I like to finish by myself
-I've been putting puzzles together for awhile. I'm really good at knowing where they go, and most of the time I can fit them in the right direction
-Lately I've been asking Mommy "What's that?" a lot...she's really good about being patient and teaching me about all sorts of things...I wonder how long that will last!
-I recently went to Chuck E. Cheese and LOVED IT! I talk about it all the time, so hopefully mom and dad will take me again soon.
There's so many other things I can and love to do, I just can't remember them all right now! I think Mommy needs to get better at keeping her blog updated when I accomplish new tasks...maybe less talk about American Idol and more talk about her favorite son??? Oh, I'll forgive her, don't worry!
Thanks for listening, I feel so blessed knowing there are so many people in this world that care about me and what I'm doing. God Bless and stay well!
Love,
Riley
