HEY!

I just had to share the cutest thing that Riley has been doing for about a month now. To say hello to someone he says 'Hey Mommy!' 'Hey Daddy!' 'Hey Danny' 'Hey Bumpa' (this is the one it started with??). It's so adorable because he emphasizes the 'hey'. He's also started calling his Aunt Stephanie 'Hey Cutey', cuz that's what she always calls him! Guess he gave up on pronouncing Stephanie.

Something else that you may not know is that Riley calls one of our best friends, Justin, 'Redrum'. For those who haven't seen 'The Shining', Redrum is murder spelled backwards and the little boy on the show sees this and says it...there's more to it, but there's a hand gesture that Justin used to do jokingly when Riley was in his 'monster talk' phase, a hand gesture that goes with Redrum, and Riley ended up learning to say 'Redrum' when Justin did it, and now he just associates Justin with it and calls him that. It's so funny! And most of the time he still uses his 'monster voice' (which is similar to the way the boy says it in the movie).

OK, I just had to share those random little 'moments' in Riley history!
